ALLEN’S GETAWAY POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

We require a Credit Card to be held on file.

You must be at least 25 years old to make a reservation.

A refundable damage deposit of $500.00 is required to reserve the property.
Holidays: Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day. These weekends require a 4-night minimum. There is no refund on Holidays unless we are able to re-rent the property.

Regular weekends are a 2-night minimum.

No refunds due to weather, power or equipment failures, golfing or fishing conditions.

Enjoy great fishing off the dock or shoreline, but no fish bait is allowed in the house. Fish are great to eat, but fishy smells in the house will not be tolerated. Please note that there is a fish cleaning table at the shoreline. We ask that you clean the table after each use with the water hose provided at the shoreline.

Cleaning fee is $150.00. There is no daily maid service, however, if you rent the property for a week, we will have the towels and linens washed at least one time during the week at no additional charge to you. There are extra sheets for each bed. ASK ABOUT OUR NEW CONCIERGE SERVICES!

We ask that you leave the kitchen clean, dishes in the dishwasher, bag all trash and place trash at the street, lock deadbolts only, close all windows, turn off all AC units, be sure the remote controls are with each AC unit as well as the two TV remotes in the baskets near each TV, turn off all lights, return keys to the key-box and lock the gate at the top of the driveway.

If any remotes are lost, you will be charged to replace them. There is a $50 fee if the pot, pans, dishes, etc. are not returned to their proper place.

We provide linens, towels, utensil, etc., a starter roll of paper towels, dish liquid, dishwasher detergent, at least 2 to 3 rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom, and a starter garbage bag for each garbage can. NO WHITE TOWELS are allowed outside. There are some beach towels, but you may want to bring some of your own to use during your stay.

THIS IS PRIVATELY OWNED PROPERTY. PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH THE FURNISHINGS. AT NO TIME IS ANYONE ALLOWED TO SIT ON THE UPHOLSTERED FURNITURE WITH WET CLOTHES. PLEASE USE THE PLASTIC CHAIRS.

We have a basketball court. Please bring your ball.

CHARCOAL GRILL. You must provide your own charcoal. Put used charcoal in the small metal garbage can.

NO SMOKING!         PET POLICY: ASK; may be allowed with additional deposit!
